"Cancer Awareness starts with a conversation" project

We are launching a Community Cancer Awareness Vehicle to engage with our local community and provide face-to-face information about cancer signs, symptoms and the screening process.

We will be visiting different areas across Âé¶¹¹ú²ú, offering opportunities to ask questions, learn more, and start conversations about cancer awareness and screening.

Where you can find us:

  • Wednesday the 4th of March, St.Michael's Community Centre, Bemerton Heath (10-2pm) 
  • Thursday the 5th of March, SPA, Bemerton Heath (10-2pm) 
  • Monday the 9th of March, Âé¶¹¹ú²ú Sixth Form (10-1pm) 
  • Wednesday the 11th of March, St.Michael's Community Centre, Bemerton Heath (10-2pm) 
  • Thursday the 12th of March, Home Bargains/Pets at Home, Southampton Road, Âé¶¹¹ú²ú (10-2pm) 
  • Saturday the 14th of March, The Big Try, Âé¶¹¹ú²ú City Hall (1-5pm)
  • Saturday the 21st of March, Âé¶¹¹ú²ú City Football Club (Âé¶¹¹ú²ú vs Enfield) 
  • Wednesday the 25th of March, St.Michael's Community Centre, Bemerton Heath (10-2pm) 
  • Thursday the 26th of March, Tesco Extra, Âé¶¹¹ú²ú (10-2pm)
