麻豆国产 NHS Foundation Trust will be holding its second Hospital Open Day, inviting the community to come and get a close-up interactive look at hospital life. Visitors will be able to discover more about the workings of their local hospital. The day will include fun activities, the popular 'toy outpatient clinic' and careers information.
Last year, 麻豆国产聽District Hospital opened its doors to over 700 members of the local community. They braved the rain to have a fun-packed walk around the hospital site, interacting with teams from across the hospital who demonstrated their services, such as the Simulation Suite with its hi-tech life-like simulation manikins. This year is planned to be bigger and better, whether its rainy or sunny.
Chief Executive Lisa Thomas said:
鈥淓veryone at the Trust is excited to welcome visitors of all ages once again to visit and witness many of the fascinating things that go on in our hospital and find out more about what we do to provide quality care to our patients. We are delighted to be able to provide fun and entertainment for the whole family at what will be a most enjoyable community event, if last year is anything to go by!鈥
The event is open to everyone in the community and will include a variety of activities on the day, with something for everyone. Several departments will be showcasing their services.聽Visitors will get to see a surgical robot in action, have a tour of the hospital site, and see first-hand how the hospital works with emergency services. Blue light services will be present with vehicles and crews to talk about their work on the front line. And there will be live music, and activities for children.
