There are various treatments for CUP which can include chemotherapy, radiotherapy, hormone-based medicines and therapies to help manage symptoms. The treatment you have will depend on the presentation and stage (severity) of your cancer and the results of the various tests you have had, whilst taking your general health into consideration.
In most cases, metastatic cancer is not curable. Treatment aims to keep the cancer under control, by shrinking the cancer or slowing its growth, thereby easing symptoms.
