| Question Number 1: I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 regarding glaucoma surgical procedures performed at your Trust. Please provide the number of procedures performed in each financial year for the 10 financial years from 1 April 2016 to 31 March 2026 inclusive, using the OPCS codes and code combinations below. We are requesting annual procedure counts only. No patient-level or patient-identifiable information is required. Procedures and their OPCS-4.10 codes: C60.1 ( Trabeculectomy ) C60.5 ( Drainage Aqueous Humour) C57.3 ( Use an additional code for graft of sclera ) C60.5 + C57.3 鈥� Drainage of aqueous humour with scleral graft (NEW ADDITION) C61.- ( eye trabecular meshwork operations). Aiming to capture all subcategories except C61.1 as it is a laser procedure performed in the clinic. C66.4 ( photocoagulation ciliary body laser). C66.4 ( photocoagulation ciliary body laser) with (Y76.9). Please omit if this would exceed the 拢450 cost limit C52.1 sclerectomy deep with spacer C52.2 sclerectomy deep without spacer. For the newly added combination, I am requesting the annual number of procedures where both codes were recorded during the same operative episode. Please provide the number of procedures recorded under each individual code or specified code combination for each financial year. Where coding has changed during the 10-year period, we would be grateful if the corresponding historical OPCS code applicable during that period could also be included where reasonably retrievable, so that procedures are not inadvertently omitted because of changes in OPCS versions. If possible, I would be grateful if the data could be supplied as an Excel spreadsheet, with each financial year as a separate row and each OPCS code, subcode or specified code combination as a separate column. If reliable information is not available for the full 10-year period, please provide the information that is available and state the earliest financial year for which reliable records can be retrieved. | |
